btw Brooklyn Bread is closed
by the dept of something, its those yellow notice stickers. I was walking by today and it's closed- signs from a city dept (not sure if it was health or not) and handwritten signs saying they need to "get permits in order" and will reopen next week (I believe it said tues.) Sorry to be so vague, I just glanced at it a few hours ago when I was walking by. So yeah, don't go there.

NYC DOH inspection results for Park Slope
Edit: Permit issue sounds right, they're not even listed on the DOH website. I don't think their name simply changed since there isn't anything listed under their address, 382 5th avenue, either. -
No Brooklyn Bread Bakery listed at all, I know when you charge things there it shows up on your credit card as another name, anyone know what that name is?

Wonder if the DOH went on a spree this week. I think I saw another place near there (maybe Mezcals) with similar signage (closed for reno, open in a few days).
