Building Management Companies

Hello gang:

As my wife and I start another excruciating apartment hunt, we are looking for ways to avoid incurring those pesky broker fees.

Does anyone know of any Building Management Companies that traffic in Park Slope? It would be great to find a place that way and cut the realtor out of the process.

Hows about checking for realtors that do not charge any fees?

Sometimes its easier to go to someone who has already done the legwork for ya!

Jules, unless you rent directly from an owner, you'll pay the fees one way or another. It's either to a broker or just a bump in the rent price from what I know. Rapid Realty may be what you're looking for but I've heard mixed reviews. They may specialize in bigger buildings.

There is one guy with lots of properties (in co-ops, brownstones, etc) but he just lets any broker who can rent them, rent them and they aren't great places usually (run down, poor management).
