Boom box on Prospect Place

Is anyone else tired of listening to the blasting music from the boom box on Prospect place near Classon Ave. everyday from noon to 1am. this week it's Prince's greatest hits, over and over again...
I have called 311 but with their 8 hour turnaround on noise complaints and the ability of the offender to just turn it down when the police arrive and then turn it back up after the leave, It doesn't do any good. These guys seem to be pretty wasted by the afternoon I don't believe they would be reasonable if I personally ask them to stop. I fear creating bad blood between us.
So I guess I'm going to have to live with it until the weather gets colder or others call in complaints to 311 as well. Perhaps if more complaints come in something could be done.

let me know if you are affected buy it, maybe we could find a solution together.

I live a couple doors down, but on the back side of the building, so I rarely notice it, but, to be honest, the few times that I have walked by and the music has been playing, it's been classic motown, so I figured that it's better than par for the block... and, now that I think about it, I've never actually seen the owner of the boombox...
