Contact lens prescription?

Does anyone know a cheap way to get a new contact lens prescription? I plan to order the lenses themselves online (so much cheaper in my experience), but I have to get a new prescription before they'll let me go through with the order. Of course, I have no coverage so it's all out of pocket.

Is that just for the eye exam, or does that include a prescription for contact lenses?

i would assume they would write the prescription, but you could call and ask.

Yep, it's $90 to get a contact lens prescription. This is the problem -- eye exams are cheap, lens prescriptions aren't. Other ideas?

Try ordering from a website that doesn't require a new prescription.

Do you have a costco membership? Know someone who does? I just had mine done for $75 - it included the prescription.
