Tenko Sushi and Thai on 5th ave St Marks

Anyone been here yet?
I'm curious about the sushi (is it as good as Taro?)

Also, wondering if the green curry or Pad See-Ew is good. The Pad See-Ew at Mee Thai is delicious, so I'm curious how it compares.

The dinner kitchen option seem a bit pricey but the lunch specials are like most places around here. $8 for 2 rolls plus soup or salad and a choice of Gyoza/Shumai/Edamame or Spring roll. Also, $7 for curries, katsu and pad thai etc...

Anyone?

  • this is the former Picasso Fusions you're talking about, right?

It seems like the same place to me, only a different name. While you could hear crickets at Picasso if you tried to eat there, I did not delivery and take-out from them several times and found both the sushi and "fusion" options to be solid. i think that asking for Taro quality is probably pushing it, but I'd say it used to compare rather well to other neighborhood options. Hopefully, with the name change, it's just as good.
