I was at Cornelius the other week and didn't like the burger so much. I've been in the past and it's been excellent. However, I was told they changed chefs recently. I'm hoping that the burger the other week was just a fluke. Definitely worth giving it another try based on past experiences there.

The best burger I've had in Brooklyn is at Cornelius.

I'll be having it again soon. Yum. :)
  • Surprisingly I had a really flavorful and tasty burger at AOC Bistro. The bun was nice and thin with a good crust (Sullivan Street bakery?) and the burger was a perfect mix of lean and fat. Really fucking good which surprised me because I'm not such a big fan of that place.
  • I had the burger from Cornelius when they first opened and it was horrible. Overcooked, dense, under salted. I know the chef changed a few months back, but doesn't sound like that helped the food. Anyone else been eating there recently?

I do love it as a great scotch bar though!
  • the burger at bark is really, really good.

maybe 6.95 i wanna say. don't quote me on it, though.

lot 2 for a tremendous grass fed burger is my favorite in ps with bark coming in 2nd.
  • I also liked the Bark burger. A few flaws, too salty, too much of that sauce, but overall a solid burger and under $7. My favorite part was the buttered and griddled bun.
