Race
What kind of drugs are you on if you have lived here for three years and can't tell
park slope is a upper income white neighborhood? Isn't that why you
moved here? Isn't that why you pay these outrageous prices; so you don't have to
live with a bunch of ghetto hood rats? Come on now! We all know that most black
people can't afford to live in Park Slope. That's the point of living in park slope! People just can't live where they want! So yes girlfriend there are hardly any people of color in the slope other than yourself and I. If there were your rent would be cheaper. Don't let White people fool you. They're not as nieve as they want you to think.

I think you mean "naive?"
(puts up umbrella, waits for sh*tstorm) -
<<< pulls up chair, gets popcorn.

I'm still trying to figure out who the hell s/he is talking to?
<---moved here 12 years ago and would have never known about the area if my black friend/client hadn't taken the time to show me where he lived when he heard I wanted to move close to the city but not in the city.
(and I'm really glad I was in suburbia where I picked up a 24 pack of microwave popcorn).
Let the games begin :-) -
Subject: Shocking that people want to live in a non-homicide ridden
neighborhood, they must be racists. -
Somehow my post was bastardized. The full version was: "Shocking that people would prefer not to live in a homicide a week neighborhood. They must be racists"
-
Naive. Well you're white so you know everything. You moved to park slope beacuse architecture, the museum, and what other B.S. Reason oh yes the garden. You couldn't cone up with a better bull crap excuse than that? Pathetic! So tell me why your white ass didn't move to prospect park east? Why don't you just admit you're afraid to live with all those darkies on the other side of the track? I would be if I were you. What did the other schmuck day? Oh yeah your black friend showed you park slope as a place to live since he lived there. Where did you think he was going to take you Bed Stuy? Hey come check out this lovely project building your white ass will love it here. Like I said you White people are nor as stupid as you want us darkies to believe.
-
ahahahahahahaha
-
Troll alert!
-
Exqueeze me. I know you're not talking to me since I ain't white, and I believe Flexi is half Cuban, so she kinda caramel too.
<<< stops feeding troll now. -
Now your being honest. You know Black neighborhoods are drug infested crime ridden for the mist part. I hope I never live in another ghetto ass black neighborhood and I'm black. I moved to park slope to get away from the ghetto just like everyone else. What's racist is when you deny the truth. Tooany darkies spoil the broth. Too many of us and you all will raise the rent or move out so stop the bullshit.
-
Sorry could've fooled me.

You're
Bakerdrake = armchair warrier?
I had the fish at Lot 2 and it was so buttery I had to eat it slowly. Perfectly cooked. served in a broth. Mmmmm. Why haven't I gone back? -
Nemesis/Scarlett-
Where is Lot 2? -
damn. Now I want caramels. And I'm wondering if my black friend really lived in Bed/Stuy but brought me here not because he actually lived on PPW, but because he was trying to gentrify Windsor Terrace. Damn, he was a sneaky fucker.
-
The caramel apples my teens made yesterday were stellar!!!!!
Lot 2 is on 20th and 6th. I was such a fan of Kitchen Bar and sad to see it go, but glad something else opened in its space. -

Were the apples made from green apples or red ones?

I prefer green but for some reason these and the one my roommie brought me from the orchard were red.
-
I just *knew* Scarlett would like the green ones over the red ones. She is a racist!
-
Personally, I don't live in Park Slope. Can't afford it. But if I move I won't apologize to some moron for moving into a mostly white neighborhhod.
-
OK, Brooklynbound! Flexi, I don't think you ever knew her, but she would throw this card MULTIPLE times an evening.
And actually, my favorite apples are Gala, which are sort of red and yellow, or granny smith, which are green and pink. I don't discriminate though. -
I got some Halloween candy at Steve Buscemi's house last night.

Fascinating.
Perhaps your roomie was unaware of your preference, or perhaps your roommie hates you because you are of mixed race and is expressing it by giving you the wrong kind of apple. -

Can Scarlett be both a racist and a victim of racism at the same time? -
Yeap, she's a racist. Man, this thread is going places.
