Fulton Flea - week 7 and continuing
The Fulton Flea continues this SUNDAY NOVEMBER 8th from 10 AM to 5 PM at 650 Fulton Street in the parking lots of the Brooklyn Plaza Medical Center (near the Lafayette Triangle bet Ft. Greene Pl and S. Elliott Pl).
This week features a variety of handcrafted jewelry, some Vintage and Modern clothing selections, handmade hats and outdoor wear for kids and adults, antiques, Desserts by Michael Allen, a unique collection of laboratory glass from Smith College, some Vintage signage and records, plus...
We are also happy to announce a working partnership with the well known community activist Florence Timothy of Clinton Avenue, as we connect her good work with resident Vendors in Clinton Hill with our efforts at the base of Fulton Street in Fort Greene. Together we are a stronger community, building economic opportunity and social capital while providing creative outlets for our neighbors.
We are still in a growth mode, and are still being discovered by both Vendors and resident shoppers. While the overall economy remains sluggish, we are seeing some impulse shopping as we get closer to the holiday season -- and the Vendors at our market offer quality merchandise that is unique and affordable. And as the weather turns a bit colder, there is some seasonal clothing available that especially merits attention as it is both practical and fashionable! In addition, we include mostly local home-based artisans and entrepreneurs as well as local business people -- so this is an opportuity to truly buy local and support neighborhood economics through neighbor to neighbor transactions!
We have limited space available for additional Vendors.
We are also looking to showcase local acoustic musical talent - so please contact us if you want to perform.
Help us find 'park' in a parking lot! YOU ARE INVITED TO COME ON BY AND OFFER YOUR SUPPORT AND POSITIVE ENERGY!!!
