I just wanted to let you all know about the next event in the Franklin Park Reading Series. It's coming up on Monday, November 16, at 8PM.

Headliner AMY SOHN is the author of the satirical new novel PROSPECT PARK WEST, which has been generating a lot of controversy due to its portrayal of the Park Slope bourgeois and local MILFs. She's also the author of the novels My Old Man and Run Catch Kiss and got her start in the '90s as the sex columnist for New York Press.
She'll be joined by SAID SAYRAFIEZADEH, author of the acclaimed memoir When Skateboards Will Be Free, which describes his upbringing as a rabid socialist.
Comedian LIANNE STOKES, whose essay on her spurned love for a coworker appeared in the anthology Rejected: Tales of the Failed, Dumped and Canceled, will also be on hand, as will JOBIE HUGHES, a recent Columbia grad whose upcoming young adult series with the notorious James Frey is being turned into a film by Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay.
