Ate at Belleville
4 of us had dinner there tonight. It has been a long time since I have eaten in there and we were pleased. the music was not loud and this is a tiled/wood bouncy sound place. I ordered the braised short ribs that was served over spinach and spaezle and it was delicious, tender and a large portion so half of it is in the frig for lunch tomorrow. For me the staple in this place has been Hamburger and I had a bit of my friend's burger. It was more than fine. We had onion soup on the table... very tasty and a few salads that were nicely done.
I know there was a change in ownership and management and I had avoided another disappointing meal so stayed away. I am not saying this with real conviction yet but perhaps this restaurant is back on the list for me. I know I sound 'reserved" on this since this was just one meal but curious to know if anyone has eaten there recently an does have an opinion. I am stopping short of a recommendation just yet..

I ate at Belleville to. Not to steal your thunder but "it was more than fine. We had onion soup on the table..."
Then we went home, tore each others clothes off, and made sweet, sweet love till the sun came up. Then I went and got some cold braised short rib from the fridge and served him breakfast in bed...
I'm stopping short of recommending cold braised short rib in bed after a night of some of the most animalistic sex since Alien met Predator... but I'll be back.
**luckily, I doubt even the mods will be reading this thread** -
most animalistic sex since Alien met Predator?
Damn! I didn't know onion soup was such an aphrodisiac!
Howdy, Stranger!
