Much to my disappointment, I am now triple booked on the night this is happening. Though this is the most desirable event on my list, the other two are more obligatory... so I'll come afterwards.... (earliest 10pm, latest 12.30am). Such a bummer. Never mind. I'll try and do better at getting to Festivus (though I think the same thing might happen).

I'm not abandoning it.... I'm very very very reluctantly bowing out. I really really wanted to do this! I'm dying to (attempt to) play air hockey, but as I say, I'm obligated to go to these other things. Believe me, this is my event of choice, and despite my best efforts, everything has been scheduled on the same night. Major bummer.

Uh-oh, I hope ping-pong prowess isn't a prerequisite for participation in this potentially pleasant party, since personally, my ping-pong proficiency is poor. Pending proper assurance that persons lacking professional-level ping-pong puissance are still welcome, I'll be there around 7:30 p.m.

I managed to get out of one of my obligations, so I'll be around for an hour or so from 7 onwards.

Mama.... still pondering on joining you for an Albaz burger @ 6.30.... will let you know if I am. I've only had one Albaz burger in my life - introduced to it by Carnivore (of course!) and it was EXCELLENT. But that was at about 3 in the morning after many beers... somehow I wonder if they'll have the same appeal earlier in the evening....!
