Bathroom renovation question

We are going to redo our bathroom and need to buy tiles.
We also need to buy the shower body and shower head.

Any suggestions on where to get this stuff close by (keep in mind we are incredibly lazy)!

A friend of mine recently re tiled a bathroom and checked out many sources and landed up on 9th street between 5th and 6th. The choices were many and reasonably priced and the service was excellent.. she tells me.

When I just replaced my kitchen faucet I looked at 3 different places at the same unit. Park Slope Plumbing was far and away the most expensive, over $200. Lowes was less at about $140 and Home Depot was $120, all for the same Delta faucet. I really like to support my local merchants but not to the tune of 50% more, I just can't afford it.

Also unless you are going to be able to get at the shower body easily after it is installed get one with integral shut offs

Are you replacing the tub as well? Strongly suggest looking into this since you are pulling everything out

Then suggest using a membrane system such as the Schluter instead of a pan. I've a friend that is a contractor that has sold me on the advantages, always drys out and doesn't get moldy

My parents redid their bathrooms and surprisingly found the best prices at overstock.com (I was sort of surprised too)...
