Does anyone know a good place to volunteer on Thanksgiving Day?

Hi, I don't off hand but, there is CHIPs in Park Slope and you could call St. Lukes & St. Matthew's Church, Tel 718-638-0686, who has a men's shelter program and needs volunteers (not up on the info). They also may have some info on what is available (non-sectarian as well as sectarian) in the neighborhood.

There was an interesting article in the Times about volunteering. It said that a lot of places book up with volunteers months in advance so it can be a challenge to find a place to volunteer the closer it gets to the holiday. Hope you're able to find a place.
