Refrigerador Repair - Accurate Appliance Repair - Recommend

Just wanted to second the many recommendations of Accurate Appliance Repair (718) 236-7718. Fridge wasn't cold. Called this morning about 9:30am, they dispatched a tech, gave me a window of 10 - 2, the guy showed up around 11:30 or so.

Got to work, told me the fan was bad, gave me a price, had the part in the truck, took him and his assistant about 20 minutes to replace the fan. 3 month warranty on the part. Clean, quick, and were nice to my 2 yr old son.

Really nice guys. Couldn't be happier.

This one was examined right after it was posted on Saturday and not eliminated because it appears legit for several reasons (due to factors visible to site moderators).

Thanks for keeping an eye on the store, though. This definitely all works best when the wisdom of the crowd is able to pick apart site abusers and other deceptive types before mods have to step in.

As for the Le Ptit Bistro thread, the shills were called out publicly in that exact manner rather immediately by others in the thread and were subsequently verified by site moderators.

This particular game of whack-a-mole not only made for great sport but also serves as a cautionary tale for all business owners (and their boosters) to be forthright, up-front and honest here with their identities and/or connections to any particular local business in question disclosed or else suffer the consequences of a public that loathes such manipulative deception.

You'll note on the flip side that other business folks that do identify themselves and stay within the bounds of fair, relevant discussion are welcomed publicly by others in the thread, such as in the cases of the current superwings thread on the Crown Heights board and the ongoing Belleville thread on the Park Slope board.

I hired these guys based upon this thread and I am happy to say that they did a fantastic job. Professional, courteous, and not too expensive. They were neat and quick. I recommend them.
