NEW YEARS EVE BUILT BY MEANRED
a warehouse party featuring The Rub, Lloydski, & Project Matt
The ball drop is for mid-towners and tourists. On New Year's Eve, we're partying in a warehouse in Brooklyn: Funk, Soul, Disco, Hip Hop, R&B, Alcohol, No Neighbors.
It only seems right to start out 2010 in Brooklyn. We've spent so many good times here... from summers at BKLYN Yard, to steamy nights at our Lose Your Shit loft parties. So we are bringing our champagne and turntables to The Old American Can Factory -- a night to celebrate the BK community we love.
We are stoked to team up again with The Rub (DJ Eleven, DJ Ayres, & Cosmo Baker) -- bringing their famous jams and swagger. Remember the last time <http> we did a party with The Rub at that warehouse? Exactly. Get ready to sweat. And we've got the ever-fabulous Unemployed Lloyd (Turntable Lab) and Project Matt (Dre Day) spinning guest sets. These guys a family -- they'll make you dance and then they'll take shots with you after. No late-night rager would be complete without them.
It has been an amazing year of music, loft parties, outdoor concerts and chinatown raves. Come celebrate with us, MeanRed, the folks who turn strange places into something beautiful and make you stay out until dawn.
Where: Old American Can Factory <http> // 232 3rd Street (Brooklyn, NY 11231)
When: 9pm - 4am
How: Tickets Avail on Ticketfly.com <http> ($25)
Includes champagne toast, balloons, stunning visuals, a dancefloor to be reckoned with, and other surprise treats.
Too excited? Can't wait? We can't either. But here's a mix by DJ Ayres & DJ Eleven to tide you over until then: Glamorous Life 3 <http>
