I think your plan is getting too complex Whynot. Might I suggest an adaptation of a cotton candy seller's pole? You can fit about 20 babies on one. It would be like baby mass transit.

...but they would get too heavy, causing mothers to wack people with them.
as well as the aforementioned golf umbrella problem -

You don't have to put as many babies on there as there are cotton candy bags. That would just be silly. As for the umbrella thing, the baby carrier should observe umbrella etiquette - am i the only one who does this? I raise my umbrella as I walk buy someone - or lower it if they're very tall. Same can go for the baby pole.
Incidentally I have a big market umbrella in my yard that goes with my patio table. One of these rainy days I'm going to show those golf umbrella folks how it's done and I'm going to carry that thing with me through Midtown like a regular umbrella. -

Yes, you're the only one... you invented that technique. Teach us more. -
mind you, i love kids and its not thrir falt if their mothers are ignoramuses. im walking down the street and they stop right in front of me causing me to bump into them. and they look at me like WTF. and i stare them straight back in their eyes letting them know I AM NOT THE ONE. poor babies. or im walking down the street, and then they decide to cut right in front of me to get to the store. now im saying WTF.

Yum, a cotton candy tree! I've heard the orchards are gorgeous. -

Well DR, considering you were thrown in jail for beating your ex-girlfriend, I think there are more important things for you to learn before you master umbrella etiquette. That’s like asking to teach a dog to do your taxes before you house train him. -
Holy nonsequitur, Batman! :batman:
-
No, it’s not a non sequitor at all. He wants me to teach him how to be polite when he uses an umbrella, right? Meanwhile he doesn’t know that it’s wrong to physically abuse women. All I’m saying is first thing’s first.

Oh, ok. Well, just let me know when you think I'm ready. I'm going to go beat my girlfriend now. -

Wow, so you think domestic abuse is funny? I'm not surprised. Disgusted, but not surprised. -

Oh, and by the way...you don't actually need to get out of my way. I will simply continue to bodycheck when you refuse to move. I move for 9 out of 10 people - the 10th person get slammed and hopefully knocked to the ground. And when that person sits there with "What the heck just happened" plastered all over their face (which I have seen when I bodycheck someone), perhaps that person will GET THE EF OUT OF SOMEONE'S WAY the next time.
This has become my new policy. Usually employed in the city. It is especially gratifying when someone is walking towards you, on the phone or texting, not paying attention, drifting or just outright obliviously in your way. If they cannot bother to look up or make eye contact, they get the stiffy. -

And suddenly this thread took an entirely different turn (toward the prurient).

 Woah. Are you saying you mount them right there on the sidewalk, or are you referring to a forearm shiver? Either way, I wouldn't want to get in your way. -

I think that's DR code for "beat the meat"

Then I don't want to know what "introducing my girlfriend to my parents" means to DR -
JO... these comments should come in handy down the line:
My name is DR and I love to beat my girlfriend... it makes me feel more like a man
Domestic abuse is hilarious to me... it makes me laugh super hard.
Anyway, it's a little strange that you've taken such a shine to me... the ALL CAPS profanity ridden private messages you send me on a regular basis are just weird... and the handful of emails where you end something like "I wish you would die you stupid cunt.." - yeah, um... dude relax.
So, go on tarnishing my spotless record on this board.... just stop with the threatening private messages, it just can't be healthy for you. Plus I'm really busy correcting all the mistakes my dog made on taxes last year... boy that was a bad idea. -

Gee, I think you're confused DR. You were the one who asked me to meet you for a drink last night at 10pm. I never threatened you. Just wished bad things happened to you. I believe in Karma and trust you'll get your due. Do you still want to meet up with me for that drink?
In case you forgot, this is what you sent me yesterday.Drunken Revival wrote: Lets talk about it over a drink.... tonight 10pm.

Seriously? Do I have to turn this car around?

just hit the orange one. -
I think you'd be better off staying out of this Whynot. But jump in if you feel you must.
-
I'm betting I speak for many at this point.
Carry on. Self destruction is always facinating to watch.
I can't believe I'm siding with DR. -
How's about I smack all three of you? Seriously guys, you look like a bunch of nuts.
-
DR and JO need to get a room

I'm out. I'll go back to just observing. -
