In Praise of Our Local Post Office
I missed a package delivery yesterday and DREADED going to our local PO on Empire Blvd. this morning, on what must be one of the busy days of the year. I expected to wait at least an hour. However they had all the windows open, with separate ones for buying stamps, cashing money orders and package pick ups. I was out in about 10 minutes, even though it was very crowded--a really pleasant surprise. It's nice when things get better. I couldn't have imagined posting a message like this a few years ago.

That's good to hear. Personally I've never had a quick experience at either this PO or the one in Crown Heights on St Johns. I leave all my mailing needs to the one near my work in the city.
