Do you know this cat? Vanderbilt/E.5th Area

Hello,

S/he's a big, long-haired cat. Grey/brownish striped with white facial markings, chest and paws (I think).

This poor cat is obviously lost or being neglected by his or her owner. She's been trapped in my landlord's backyard by other strays twice this week, and has yowled for help, and I just saw her out on the street at 5 a.m. this morning. It's freezing and wet outside - no place for a cat.

I called to her but she bolted, and I have no access to my landlord's yard.

If you know who this cat belongs to, please drop me an email. dbalance23 at yahoo dot com.

All the best,
Cate

  • Hi, thanks for thinking of this poor cat. I actually saw your post on craigslist too. If there's any way you can foster the cat I can get a trap and maybe help you catch her/him. Are you able to contact your landlord to get access to the yard or maybe through a neighbor's? I'm a certified rescuer so I can get a slot on the aspca mobile clinic, fiv/felv testing, vax, and neutering will be considerably less than at a vet's office. Let me know, you can PM me or send me an email at my user name at gmail.com.
  • Cate, thank you for caring and posting here. Please take Caseo's advice and assistance. It's a horrible time for any pet to be out in the cold. If you can't foster, I can see what friends I have that can help to foster. You can contact me via the PM button below.
