For the past couple weeks, we've been visited by a kitty who mewls pitifully in our backyard at night. It's there a couple times a week. Tonight I finally got a glimpse - the kitty is white with black and grey patches, looks on the younger side and doesn't look like a stray. We live on Sterling btwn Vandy and Butler, and the backyard is on the Butler side (btwn Sterling and Plaza Street.)
