Full-Time Nanny Available Immediately

Maxine has worked for our family for over three years. She began with us when
our daughter Riley was only four months old. Since that time she has developed a strong bond with Riley and our daughter absolutely adores her. Riley will be starting school full-time in January and we wish we could keep Maxine on full-time! We hope to find another loving family for her to work with either full or part-time.

Maxine has worked in Park Slope for many, many years and has always had
long-term relationships with her families. She has also worked in Manhattan and other areas of Brooklyn and came with excellent references.

Since that first day Maxine has nurtured and cared for Riley as if she was her
own. Riley has developed a close set of friends as a result of Maxine setting up
numerous play dates for her both at our house and other homes. We have become good friends with many of Riley's friends parents which has been an added bonus.

Maxine willingly took Riley to her music and tumbling classes and always made
sure she got plenty of fresh air on a daily basis. Maxine also took initiative
to take Riley to the Brooklyn Children's Museum, New York Aquarium, Transit
Museum, library and other wonderful places around Brooklyn. This was always done with our permission of course.

Maxine is very gentle and has a wonderful way with children. She strongly
believes in allowing them to develop at their own pace and would often put our
new parent fears to rest. Maxine has taught Riley her letters, colors, numbers
and how to read. She spends hours reading and playing with Riley and respects our rule of limited TV. She is also the only person who can get Riley to wear a hat, scarf and mittens. Not to mention her ability to get Riley to eat all of
her vegetables!

When Riley began school part-time Maxine was extremely helpful in helping Riley make that transition which was difficult at first. Maxine is always punctual and works for us daily from 8:30am - 6:30pm. She is also available in the evenings and on weekends which was helpful for us. Maxine always makes sure the house is picked up and also does Riley's laundry.
