Yoshie Fruchter is a guitarist, bassist and composer based in Brooklyn, NY. His current creative project Pitom - an avant Jewish jazz/rock outfit - just released its debut on John Zorn's Tzadik records. When he's not on the road, he performs music for kids around the Brownstone Brooklyn area, often with his sister Ora, who is a puppeteer. Yoshie holds an BA in Music from the University of Maryland.
