You've played Rock Band and had to be the drummer, right?

Now you want to play for real/start your own awesome and epic band/hit stuff!

Hey I'm Eric, I'm a drum instructor and I'm taking on new students.
All ages welcome and encouraged.
I hold a Bachelors of Music, tour and record in an indie band, play in a jazz trio, and play back up for the occasional sultry chanteuse. If you live in Brooklyn (or have moved to Manhattan, my condolences), then I want to help you become an awesome drummer!

Here's what we can do:
-Tackle any style of music you love (or hate), AND learn to read music
-Learn fascinating trivia and history about percussion (impress your friends!)
-Become fast and coordinated through simple exercises (two left feet- GONE!)

Best of all? We can get started even if you don't have a drum set! I have one!
I find drumming to be an excellent aerobic and therapeutic activity. Additionally, we can learn at your own pace, schedule, and comfort level.

My 11 1/2 year old grandson would be interested but has no time this school year. How do I get in touch with you when his time frees up? He's got great rhythm is awesome on a bongo.

That's a great age to get started learning percussion and I bet he's an awesome bongo player. If you want to message me, I'd be happy to supply you with my cell. We can set up a lesson(s) schedule and when the school year is over/time frees up for your grandson.
