THAI YOGA BODYWORK (Nuad Bo-Rarn) is an ancient healing art with origins in Ayurvedic yoga, Chinese medicine and Buddhist meditation. It combines passive stretching, joint mobilization, acupressure, soft tissue manipulation and energy meridian work to reduce stress and create balance throughout the body. Thai yoga is performed in comfortable clothing on a floor mat and is suitable for clients of all ages and abilities. Better than a massage and more gentle than yoga, you can increase your range of motion and muscular strength, release muscles and constricted organs, and reduce stress and chronic pain while laying on your back!
Ophra Wolf has been immersed in the study of mind-body healing and training for almost fifteen years and has been practicing Thai Yoga Bodywork since 2004. She practices out of her Brooklyn studio, Force and Flow Integrated Bodywork, and has earned a reputation as a uniquely gifted teacher and practitioner. http://www.forceandflow.com
Here's what a recent couple had to say: 'I never wrote to tell you how much Dan changed after you worked on him. He was just starting to go to the gym when you worked on him, and I was worried he had so little awareness of his body that he was going to hurt himself. After you worked on him, he started to let me work on him much more and he started to learn to breath. Your work was the catalyst we both needed to be able to move forward. As of now he has lost 15 pounds, he doesn't have any back spasms, and is MUCH healthier... So thank you.' Maggie & Dan
