Asian New Year Celebration info
Info on Asian New Year, Year of the Tiger Celebration is hard to find unless you walk along 8th Ave and read the posters.
Though the New Year started on Sunday Feb 14th, the main Brooklyn celebration will be Sunday Feb 21, 11 AM at 50th & 8th Ave.
Dragon Dancers, firecrakers, music, and some politicos speeches, though most speeches are in Chinese. Great fun, if the weather's good. Then everyone can go hace dumplings for lunch.
