The featured speaker at The Albemarle Neighborhood Association (ANA) meeting Thursday, March 25, 7–8 p.m. will be Hillary Poole, Senior Project Manager, Traffic Planning Division of the New York City's Department of Transportation (DOT). She will discuss DOT's recent survey of traffic congestion along the Church Avenue corridor and its impact on the area.

The meeting will be held at the Flatbush & Shaare Torah Jewish Center, 327 E. 5th Street off Church Avenue, ground floor entrance, at the corner of Church Avenue.

ANA meets the fourth Thursday of the month from March through June and from September through November. Refreshments are provided by Foodtown and ANA. ANA meetings are free, open to non-members, and are wheelchair-accessible.

ANA meetings provide local access to address safety, security, and quality-of-life issues in Kensington and the surrounding area. Founded in 1973, the Albemarle Neighborhood Association is the oldest neighborhood association in Brooklyn. It has helped create a safe and stable neighborhood by working closely with members, residents, city agencies, and elected officials to address key issues.
