Dunkin' Donuts on Flatbush
Subject: Dunkin' Donuts on Flatbush
What happened to it?(Suppose it's technically in Park Slope?)
I was going to treat myself to a donut -- and really: I never have them! -- and was startled to see that it's closed and completely empty. There was a sign on the door saying it was now property of the city -- or something like that.
I took this as a sign that I shouldn't have a donut and I went home.

wasn't there few complaints about that joint here or was it on the park slope boards. anyway i hear they suck in customer service.

Armchair may appreciate this. I hear something very "Asian" is about to happen to the space at Dunkin Donuts. Sounds fishy too me though.

I have no answers, but I walked by yesterday (with no donutty plans, unfortch) and noticed the same thing. I was surprised. This stinks, because now I have no DD options close to home. Every so often, I need a DD's coffee.

They would need remedial classes to achieve the competency required to suck. -

i've always thought anything on this side of flatbush is in park slope, no?
doesn't really matter, but now brownstoner has it listed as prospect heights too... -
Yeah, I figured it was Park Slope too, but I always get there via Prospect Heights, and I consider PHers to be my neighbors, so that's why I preferred posting it here.
-
i wonder if it would have been considered the slope if it had been a starfucks.

Subject: Place is empty!
Just passed by there, and the place is totally empty/stripped already! Jeez. Did they sell the fixtures to raise money to pay the taxes? -
Fishy? Asian? Another sushi place would be nice.
