Looking for tennis partners

teppaz
edited November -1 in Park Slope
I'm looking for people to play tennis with on weekends and on some weekday mornings/late afternoons. I'm a woman at an about 3.5 level (I think!). Singles or doubles is cool. I'm in Park Slope so the Prospect Park courts are best, but I can ride my bike over to other locations on weekends.

  • I'd be willing to go out and hit with you.
    PM me.

Not sure how Prospect Park courts work though.
You reserve a time or need a membership?
  • FYI, the bubble comes down 5/9ish. Until then, it's stupid expensive to play at the PP courts. Once the bubble's down, you just need a city permit and you're all set, although if you make a reservation, you'll need to pay a $7 reservation fee, which is well worth it. It's also really worth it to go in and set yourself up to reserve online, which is much less onerous than calling. You cannot reserve hard courts online, though, just clay.
  • Yep, I PM'ed pretty much the same info to the person who had answered. I never play in Prospect Park under the bubble, the rates are preposterously high.
