Subject: InContext Tours - Bushwick Artists' Studio Tour, 4/18

Please join InContext tours on our exciting first studio visit to see four Bushwick-based artists. We will take you into each artist's studio where they will talk about their work and why they make it. You will be seeing new art works being created and also finished pieces. This is an insider's opportunity to get a better understanding of the creative process and the inspiration behind the work, with different artists working in diverse manners.

InContext's Bushwick Tour will be on Sunday, April 18th, with an option to meet at Union Square at 2pm or at the Morgan stop on the L train 2:30pm.

We will be visiting the studios of Ariel Dill, Letha Wilson, Bjorn Meyer-Ebrect & Rico Gatson,

The tour ends at 5pm at The Bodega, the new wine bar in Bushwick http://thebodegawinebar.wordpress.com/, where they will be offering drink specials specifically for our group only. We can relax and discuss the artists we visited, or not - optional but fun! The Bodega takes cash and credit cards. http://www.yelp.com/biz/the-bodega-brooklyn

Tour fee is $75 which is payable by cash or check only. (Limited to 20 spaces) Please email to reserve a space.

InContext Tours are led by Elizabeth Tenenbaum and Elissa Levy. Elizabeth is an painter, illustrator and contemporary art collection manager who lives in Brooklyn. Elizabeth is member of ArtTable and is currently pursuing her certificate in Fine Art Appraisal at NYU. Elissa is a mixed media artist, curator and consultant. Her work has been exhibited at the New Museum, NY, White Columns, NY and G Fine Art, Washington, DC. She recently curated a group exhibition at the ISCP, Brooklyn and was awarded a residency at Glenfiddich, Scotland in 2006.

We will be coordinating approximately two tours a month, depending upon your ongoing interest! Please join us as we take you to emerging, under-represented, and more established artists to see what you would not normally be able to see. We will end each tour with a beverage in a local spot that you may have always wanted to go to or haven't even heard of yet.

Stay tuned! And feel free to contact us with any questions.
