I love the Jell ring ices.

    Agreed.
  • Holy hyperbole.

Uncle Louie G's is perfectly acceptable ice cream, and having one further north is a good thing, but let's put it back in our pants here and breathe. What they do, and what a more artisan-like business like Blue Marble (and Trois Pommes, which still has the best ice cream in the immediate area) does, are two very different things.

The only superlative ice cream flavor they have is the Birthday Cake, which really does taste like an old-school birthday cake in ice cream form. i also love their non-fruit italian ice flavors. The rest is solid

How is it that people who live in borough of Brooklyn have never had or, in some cases, never heard of Uncle Louie G's? That's a bit strange to me.
  • Just had my first local chocolate-peanut butter cup ices from ULG's and am so happy! Just $2 for a small........welcome to PH, ULGies!
  • I stopped going there after seeing "Wazzup Watermellon" flavor.
