The Central Brooklyn Community Supported Agriculture (CSA), in partnership with MimoMex Farm, begins its first year of bringing quality, affordable vegetables to Central Brooklyn community members of all income levels. Our CSA’s mission is to “make fresh, sustainable produce, direct from the farmer available and accessible to any Central Brooklyn resident, regardless of economic status.”
Each member receives a “share” of vegetables every week: a full share will be delivered weekly and feed 3-4 people; a half-share will be delivered every other week and feed 3-4 people. We only have a limited amount of shares available for everyone, so don’t wait to purchase your share. To ensure that our shares are affordable for everyone, we offer flexible payment options for low-income households, plus you can use your Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (formerly known as “Food Stamps”) benefits to purchase shares.
We hope to see you there!
