On Sunday, April 18 at 2:00 p.m., Friends of The Woodlawn Cemetery will host “Discovering Woodlawn,” a gorgeous springtime walking tour of one of the world’s most historic and notable cemeteries.

Established in 1863 at the peak of the Civil War, Woodlawn features over 400 acres of rolling hills, spectacular trees, and majestic mausoleums. This 1.5-mile walking tour takes visitors on a spectacular journey through history and tells stories of those buried at Woodlawn. Participants will have an opportunity to interact with local residents, who will share personal, sometimes surprising anecdotes of how they ‘discovered’ Woodlawn and its many significant resources.
