more info on my friend (of 45 years) She used to live on 19th Street between 4th & 5th Avenue...Has a brother named Carl, mom & dad (now deceased) named Carmela & Pat..she's been sick for a number of years..would like to get some closure with this..I live out of state but we kept in touch all the time...if anyone can help, I'd appreciate it....(even checked cemeteries-no luck)..Thanks

Did you do a google search on Obituaries?. Some families still put in paid ads in the newspapers when a relative dies and some church or synagogue month or weekly bulletins still include death notices and many of these are on line as well as the hard copy given to people when they attend services.

haven't googled "Obituaries" but will try and see if this works...Her parents are deceased in Greenwood Cemetery..I check every week to see if her name comes up...nothing...but thank you so much for your suggestion..I knew she was sick & am surprised her daughter didn't get in touch with me if she passed away. Her email address is still open & left messages there too (no
replies) Have known her since 1965 (my oldest friend) but appreciate your email.................thanks again

Yes I have-her maiden name is Patricia Ruggiero, married name is Medina...she lived with Frank (don't remember his last name) on 8th Avenue (I think between 7th & 8th Street) She worked at the library on 9th Street...Known her since 1965-her daughter Donna is married...I knew she was sick with emphesyma. We called each other every couple of months (I live in Aurora,Il.-outside of Chicago) I called the library last year and was told she retired..I know if she died she would have wanted to be buried at Greenwood with her parents. She lived on 19th Street between 4th & 5th Avenue...if these facts sound familiar can someone please contact me...thanks so much for your help..

Hi Anna, my name is Vinny DeVita, I lived on 17th. street, between 5th. and 6th. ave. I dated Pat for a short time in 1965. The last time I saw her was in 1980's. I had the band that rehearsed in the church on 17th. street.

Hi Vinny-wow-you're the 1st person to contact me...been trying to locate Pat for the last couple of years..it's pretty hard when you live so far away (I live in Aurora, Illinois-outside of Chicago)I've posted on the Brooklyn Back When Blog but no one seems to know her. Do u still keep in contact with anyone in Brooklyn? I remember she dated Bobby Campana (he had a twin Anthony) & she lived on 19th St. (Bobby Corbett & Jesse V lived there too)do u remember them?) Anyway, phone calls & emails have gone unanswered-I know the last time I spoke to her she told me things were going on with her and to call her back in a couple of months-I did that but that was the last time I spoke to her. I know she had emphysema & she may have passed away but looks like I may never get the answer..Thanks so much for answering me. If u can find out anything at all, please keep in touch...thanks again..........
