organic grocers in Brooklyn that also deliver meals

Just wondering if anyone can help me out ?

- would anyone know of an affordable (preferably organic) store with groceries and fruits & veggies plus ready-made meals (soups, pasta, etc.) that also delivers ?

I have a friend living in the Marine Park neighbourhood who's just been through some surgeries. I don't think he has much family or friends.
Living in Canada and presently on the west coast at that, realistically I can't help much. But I thought if I can get some of his groceries and meals taken care of for a while until he gets back on his feet, that might help. But I don't know what's available in the area. Would anyone have any suggestions ?

In nyc almost every store and restaurant delivers - while you are very nice to be concerned, this is will probably be really easy for the person to take care of themselves and is unlikely to be a problem.

There is also a great company called Fresh Direct where you can buy groceries and prepared items online, and they deliver it to your door.

I had a look - exactly what I was looking for - and they do deliver too.
I think you're right - if most stores/restaurants deliver, he'll be fine.
