Summer Adventure For Your Child

Hello parents,
Want your child to have great experiences this summer? Well you found the right person (read below for more information). I am organizing hands on active summer day program. The benefits of this program are of course hands on, exploring things all around us as well as interacting with other children.

The planned activities will include various outings mostly in the Prospect Park Area, as well as can arrange to do other locations for additional days. As of now the planned activities include visiting the Prospect Park Zoo, Botanical Garden, Children’s Museum, Lefferts Historic House, Prospect Park Audubon Center and the playground. As well as activities in Prospect Park I also plan two to three days at Coney Island to go to the New York Aquarium and walk along the boardwalk and beach. I am also looking into other locations covenant to Prospect Park that is accessible by public transportation.
Most activities will be free of charge or worked into the rate. Lunches for most days will be bagged lunch (sandwich, snack and drink) for our picnics.

Once I have an idea of the interest, location that is easy for drop off and amount days would like to have your child participate I will have a clear schedule and e-mail to all interested parents.

Depending on your location I can provide transportation by use of buses from your home or if walking distance of the Grand Central Library.
Also depends on the amount of children with an interest I have at least one other person with interest to join helping me with the day adventures.

Tentatively will begin June 28th and the hours will be between 12:30pm and 5pm. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, can register for one or more several days. Also can arrange weekend outings as well.

A little about me,
I am a college student in my senior year at Brooklyn College, majoring in Childhood Education with certificate in Special Education and Sociology with a minor in Children’s Studies. I am a Girl Scout Leader for 5 years, work very part time at a daycare. I have ten years of childcare related experience as well as tutoring experience. I have references, resume and fingerprinted by DOI.
