Freegan Bike Workshop Needs Help!

Greetings! The Freegan Bike Workshop, which has been running out of Bed-Stuy for the past couple years, is searching for a new space. We are a workshop that salvages bikes and bike parts in order to fix and build all types of bicycles. While we provide bikes, tools to use, parts and education for free we also accept donations for kids programs, events and, in the past, rent. Being that we are a community-based non-profit, we hope to find space with low or zero rent. If you have a garage, warehouse space or even a basement we could work out of we promise it will be beneficial to the neighborhood surrounding it. We are losing our storage space as I type and need to move in ASAP. Any help will be appreciated. You may have seen us in Tompkins Park celebrating our Bicycle Field Day over Memorial Day Weekend, offering free food and repairs to bikers and folks around the neighborhood.
