2 well behaved lab mixes need a new home together!

They are a father and daughter team that need to go to a home together. They are so very sweet, very well behaved and just charming. The father's name is Karotto (aka - Rottie) and is 5 years old and the daughter is Suzie andis 3 years old. These were their names from their previous owner, so they are very used to them. Their human father had past away and when his children got the dogs, they just didn't want them and dumped them at the pound in Brooklyn. It's such a sad story and not sure how long they've been in a shelter till the Brooklyn Animal Foster Network took them in and fattened them up and now they are happy, happy and ready for a new human(s) to love and love them back!

We believe they are both Black Lab Retriever mixes. They have fabulous dispositions! Both are extremely mellow and such couch potatoes. Rottie loves to rub himself up against you or the furniture they way cats do, its so cute to see. He even rolls over on his back for belly rubs and likes to toss the pillows off the couch for fun. Suzie is a little head rub-lover, and will paw you for a scratch or two. Really great apartment dogs, but they wouldn't mind a home in the suburbs either. They don't run around or tear things up. They hardly want to play, they are such loungers...but with encouragement they will play with each other or you. Not sure about toys, they didn't seem interested with a ball or pull toys. They are very obedient and very housebroken. They know sit, stay, wait, come...etc... I also taught them to give me a hug for treats. They stand on their back legs and hold me with their front legs....its so cute. They also get along with other pets...dogs and cats, so it would be ok if they had to share their new home with other dogs or cats too! They would really love that.
