Are you looking for a fun, creative & low cost activity for your kids this summer?

Barking Cat Studio Make It & Take It Arts & Crafts for Kids is a uniquely equipped art studio dedicated to promoting creativity, discovery, independent thinking, fun and imagination through creative play and creating art just for kids.
Our comfortable and colorful studio provides the perfect environment for nurturing and encouraging young artists to explore their imaginations and inspirations. The studio focuses on care to develop fun, age appropriate projects that focus on the basics of visual arts. We provide the materials and guidance and the kids do the rest!

Make It & Take It Arts & Crafts classes are for kids and their mamas, papas or caregivers. All children 6 and under, must be accompanied by an adult.

Classes are offered for children 18 -36 months, 3+ – 6 years and 7 – 12 years. Registration is now open for our Summer Arts & Crafts Session beginning July 12th, running weekly through September 3rd.

Summer Creative-Play Workshops: 18-36 mos.

Workshops meet once a week for 45 minutes.

10:30 am - 11:15 am - Monday - Friday
11:00 am - 11:45 am - Saturday (Advance reservation required)

8 Week Summer Session.......................................$120. ($15 per class)

Drop-In Price..................................................................................$20.



Summer Arts & Craft Workshops: 3+- 6 yrs.

Workshops meet once a week for 60 minutes.

2:30 pm - 3:30 pm - Monday - Friday
1:30 pm - 2:30 pm - Saturday (Advance reservation required)

8 Week Summer Session.......................................$160. ($20 per class)

Drop-In Price..................................................................................$25.



Summer Arts & Craft Workshops: 7- 12 yrs.

Arts & Craft workshops meet once a week for 90 minutes.

Advance reservation required.

3:45 pm - 5:15 pm - Monday - Friday

8 Week Summer Session.......................................$320. ($40 per class)

Drop-In Price..................................................................................$45.


All prices include the craft. Class size is limited to 10 children and an accompanying adult. Discounts are given for multiple class sessions and siblings too. Studio hours are Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm. Pre-registration is required but drop-ins are welcome provided there is space available. Crafts change daily so call ahead for craft schedule.

Barking Cat Studio also offers Make It & Take It Arts & Crafts for birthday parties. Parents can choose from a variety of popular projects or have one tailor-made for the event. Party packages can include arts & crafts, food, drink, paper goods and goodie bags. Or if you prefer, they will bring the arts & crafts to you, at a price you can afford.
