Musicians Wanted For Brownsville Summer Plazas/Youthmarket

I'm working with the Brownsville Partnership, a collaboration between Common Ground, NYCHA, and other social service groups (if you want more information on what we do, please visit http://www.commonground.org/?page_id=466 - just to warn you, we're kind of awesome). The Brownsville Partnership is starting a Youthmarket (similar to a Farmer's market but operated by trained local youth) in Brownsville on Fridays (starting July 9th until late October) from about 1-6 PM. We also have a Summer Plazas program on July 10, 17, 24, from 11 AM - 6PM. Our aim is to make healthy living and food more accessible for poorer communities.

Since the project's just starting up and we want to draw in more people, we wanted to get some local musicians to perform pro bono. We hope to help you by giving budding musicians some space to perform, and to help us boost a positive environment.
