Bishop Larry Provanzano will be officiating:

Holy Confirmation and Solemn Choral Mass with Bishop Provenzano this Sunday at 10 AM!

We are happy to welcome the new Bishop of the Diocese of Long Island, The Rt. Reverent Lawrence Provenzano and his lovely wife Jeanne, for their first visit here at St. John’s this Sunday. Bishop Provenzano was born and raised in the Bushwick neighborhood, right here in Brooklyn. He was elected our bishop by the diocese on March 21, while he was rector of St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Longmeadow, Mass.

Bishop Larry attended schools in Brooklyn and Queens and St. John's University, the University of the State of New York and Christ the King Seminary. He was received as a priest in the Episcopal Church in April of 1984.
