i forget the street name . i think sterling or park pl between underhill and vanderbilt today. it had some cool stoop sale stuff there. i went there at the end but i hear no music or anything hmmm not typical brooklyn block party.

It was on Park Place between Underhill and Vanderbilt. I was out schlepping around with a couple of friends and we ran across the block party around 3pm or so. It was put on by the block association, and they were selling raffle tickets for a bunch of giveaways (gift certificates for Beast and all sorts of stuff). When I was there, there were some people doing capoeira, a couple of little kids playing band instruments, a handful of stoop sales, face painting, a few kids' games, and that was about it.
