a-z appliance repair

they also go by "ace" appliance repair.

these people "fixed" my dishwasher (it needed a new valve, he said), and then when it broke again five weeks later--there was a 90 day warranty on part/labor, and a "satisfaction or money back" guarantee on yelp. yes, i did leave them a mean review on yelp. i was honest--he came back and said the valve was clogged from rust in my pipes and could not be fixed. at least i think that's what he said. he just kept yelling, "valve," "clog," water!" and he left.

when this turned out not to be the case i called the company and asked to speak to the owner, the man on the phone said he was. (this is questionable.) i told him my problem and said that i did not want the angry man to return but was told he was their only repair person. the man on the phone promised the angry man would not yell at me.

so he came back again, he backpedaled on what he said during his second visit--"not pressure in pipe that day," he said. i think. he refused to let me show him how the machine was acting when i started it on a certain cycle, and kept yelling "cycle end," "water."

this guy is so hostile, and he yells. maybe he yells because people cannot understand what he says. i don't know.he was unable to fully explain to me what was wrong with the machine and wouldn't let me show him. he stomped out of my apartment.

so now my washer only works if you start it at rinse/hold and let it run through that whole cycle, instead of just at one of the wash cycles. which is a pain in the ass.

stay away from these guys, they don't know what they're doing and they're mean. and i don't like to be yelled at!
