I'm moving in with my gf in September and my current roommate is seeking someone cool to share space. There's a lot of room, lots to do in the 'hood and it's an easy commute to Manhattan. Seeking a drug-free and smoke-free roommate to share railroad apartment in Bushwick, Brooklyn. The two available rooms are a furnished loft bedroom (complete with loft bed, dresser and lots of misc. storage) and a large, open live/work space with big closet and other storage space. New roommate can configure spaces however desired. Shared spaces are bathroom and eat-in kitchen. No pets.

Cost: Rent is $645/mo. and includes gas & electricity. First month's rent and security required to move in. (This does not include cable, Internet or phone, but you are welcome to install.) Term begins September 1st.

Location: One block from Maria Hernandez Park off the Jefferson stop on the "L" line. (The train ride to Union Square is 15 minutes. 10 minute walk from door to train.)

Amenities Nearby: Large grocery stores, numerous laundromats (which also have drop-off service), great fresh vegetable markets. Many restaurants, cafés and performance spaces are around here: The Wyckoff Starr coffee shop, Northeast Kingdom restaurant and Bushwick Starr performance space are just a few hot spots within three blocks. The Green Fitness Studio, Orwell Cafe, The Archive, Life Cafe and other cool places are <10 minutes walk in various directions. New stores, boutiques, restaurants, galleries, etc., are opening all the time.
