... unless Sarah Palin goes away. What key words are making google think that plastering her pic all over the place is a good idea?

  • Best I can guess is that they bought "Brooklyn" as a Google Ads keyword since the district in question includes southern parts of Brooklyn.

    And that keyword (Brooklyn) is all over every page of this site, including appearing in the name of the site itself.

    PM dailyheights to protest. ( :mrgreen::lol: )
  • what made Michael Grimm think that being endorsed by her was a good idea?

    ....I know I exist in a different world, but I can't believe her endorsement is actually GOOD for one's campaign.

    maybe the republicans have no on else to endorse their candidates?
  • Unless I am mistaken, the main portion of that Congressional district is in Staten Island. You know, NYC's own, local Alabama?

    Should explain everything...
  • I have respect for a lot of Republican opinions and viewpoints.

    ....I know a lot of really intelligent Republicans, many are family members. None of them think Palin was a good choice as VP, and all would like to see her disappear from the scene.

    It is disappointing that the Republicans seem to be appealing to their least intelligent members. Everytime I see her, I can't get that movie Idiocracy out of my head.

    I'm sure the Democrats often appeal to the lowest common denominator too, but Palin's mere existence just seems to mock the idea of a intelligent public servant.

    As a country, we've somehow found a way to go beyond Arnold Swartznegger (sp?) and Jesse Ventura. Didn't Italy or Brazil elect a former porn star? ...can we be far behind?

    I'd like to think she was so poisonous that some clever Democrat is running the ads, under the belief that Republicans won't vote for someone (even a Republican) who would willingly associate themselves with her, but this seems to not be the case.

    Sadness.
  • There are ugly Americans to be found in the entire political spectrum.
  • the next time I get an ad that has auto-play audio like the Dancing with the Stars promo, I AM going to adblock brooklynian. That is so f'in obnoxious.
  • Perhaps when LNelson finishes her gig in Alabama, we should find her similar work in Staten Island?
