  • I wouldn't mind seeing Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun. Are ya good at craps?

never tried it. it looks like fun. I'm somehow decent at roulette, generally double my money. horrible at blackjack - I either piss of the entire table or lose all my money.
  • I have pissed off my fair share of people at blackjack. Nothing like seeing an old lady who made the bus trip all the way from Howard Beach get in such a tizzy that her beehive wig floats off the top of her as if it were a glider riding a mass of warm air.

Swing over to my block- it seems that they're shootin' craps on the sidewalk every other night...

Only if they have free cocktails.

There's a bode-... uh, convenience store on the corner... do 40s count? They're not free, but they're next to nothin'... unless you like those fancy beers like Budweiser...
  • Then bottom line is this:

You wake up in Vegas, you're like, "Awesome. Even though I'm in a desert, there is more stuff to do here than hours in the day."

You wake up in AC and look over that swamp or the Atlantic, it's, "Jeeeesus, I have a 2.5 hour drive back to the city, if I'm lucky. I'd damn well better start now." I mean what are you going to do? Walk around town?

And I love craps, but the hardways are my weakness.

yeah. but. um. don't you need one pit boss and two dealers for craps?

stupid aside, but I think there's at least one casino in NM I'm not welcome back in (either that, or I got a dealer (are roulette ppl dealers?) fired) - this dealer seriously messed up like 20% of my hands. and I called her on it every time, cause every time I lost money on her misread of my bets. it was infuriating. I had this pit boss in my grill all the time, but I was always right. so bizarre.

    best line ever.

thank you! and I'm not from MIT and this was not about blackjack! though! did you hear that the wrpgt software failed and called a hand for the wrong person this week? uh. if AI can beat a human in chess, easily, AI can totally fuckin' call a poker tournament. pathetic programming. (yes, I was a cog. sci/math double major)

ON first glance, i don't see a lot of people dissing NJ on this thread that I would be required to jump in and defend it, however my standard answer to this issue is this: get a life. It's just really cliche and old to make fun of NJ and most poeple who do it have only been to the airport. If you ever visited Princeton, Sandy Hook, Cape May, the ski resorts, or the many, many other beautiful locales which make up the other 99% of the state, you would know better.

    Yeah!! What she said!!!

    :D:wink:
