FRANKLIN PARK READING SERIES, MONDAY, 9/13 -- JENNIFER EGAN — Brooklynian

FRANKLIN PARK READING SERIES, MONDAY, 9/13 -- JENNIFER EGAN

Hi, everyone, I just wanted to let you know about the big bash we have planned for this Monday, September 13, from 8-10pm.

Our headliner is JENNIFER EGAN, the bestselling author, most recently, of the critically acclaimed novel A Visit from the Goon Squad. She's an incredible experimental writer who has even written an entire chapter in Powerpoint. To play off that technology theme, we're also featuring MATT STEWART, author of the comic novel The French Revolution, who released his book on Twitter when publishers initially turned him down. And since Egan's novel focuses on characters in the music industry, we're hosting one of Brooklyn's popular indie bands, THE HOUSE FLOOR. They'll be joined by memoirist and Sadie Magazine editor JESSE SPOSATO and poet CORIEL GAFFNEY.

Hope you can make it! Here are the details:
