In Praise Of Porridge

I've discovered the joys of porridge from 3-D's (Jamaican) bakery at Washington and St. Johns over the last few months. For $3 you get a decent-sized bowl of creamy, sweet and aromatic porridge - cornmeal or oatmeal depending on what they have that day. It has become a regular stop for me in the AM, though you never know exactly when they will open - usually 8:15 to 8:45 somewhere. My only complaint is that it could be a little thicker. Just thought I'd share all that.
