Subject: McKim, Mead & White: Master Architect Tour of Woodlawn,

On Sunday, September 26, at 2:00 p.m., noted architect, scholar, and author Samuel G. White will lead an extraordinary tour of The Woodlawn Cemetery’s most magnificent and notable mausoleums designed by acclaimed architects McKim, Mead & White.

Samuel G. White is a designer of numerous homes and public buildings in the Beaux-Arts style and is the co-author with Elizabeth White of “McKim, Mead & White: The Masterworks,” a comprehensive survey of the firm's public buildings. The tour is $10 per person, $5 for seniors and students, and children under 6 are FREE. The tour group meets at the Jerome Avenue entrance (near Bainbridge Avenue, across the street from the last stop on the #4 train), The Woodlawn Cemetery, Webster Avenue and E. 233rd St., Bronx, NY 10470.
