Eyewitness Cell Phone Street Theft on Lincoln Place

My son and his wife came to visit last night around six or seven pm and were leaning out the front window to take in the street life (my son grew up here).

As they were admiring the view on Lincoln between Underhill and Washington (closer to Underhill) a black kid came running like hell down the street going towards Underhill, with a young white couple in hot pursuit. The man was yelling, "HE STOLE MY CELL PHONE!!!!!"

They followed the perp around the corner going towards Eastern Parkway. The perp was at least "half a block ahead" according to my two eyewitnesses and the likelihood of the two victims reclaiming their property was nil.

A few minutes later, the man came walking back up Lincoln alone, his body language radiating anger as he stalked up the sidewalk back to his building.

I guess the moral of the story is, PUT YO CELL PHONE AWAY SON. Or, at least hold on to it with a death grip so the thief running up on you from behind can't dislodge it from your fingers.

Let me be the first to say: who gives a crap what color the "perp" and victims are? Unless your warning is to not take out your cell phone if there's a black guy around, or have you seen a black guy? he may have stolen a phone. And if so, you should add a detail or two. Otherwise, really, why?

I agree. It is relevant. For well over thirty years, and particularly the last ten years, I have been watching young, privileged white people invading and taking over what used to be a predominately black neighbourhood.

And let me be the first to say it: There were no bed bugs in this neighbourhood until the white hipsters started moved in... :twisted:

they are called hipsters

there is also a bunch of people who walk with their belt line down around their ankles, listen to rap music smoke weed (among other things) and commit crimes they are called gangstas

Gabbing away into your cell is ok, stealing is not, weather your are black or white. Period.
