Actually, I'd like to derail this thread to discuss my cable service. Does the moderator have any objection to that?

Okay, I'd just like to say that I really like Time Warner Cable. I don't get out much, so I look forward to the visits from friendly technicians who drop by often to cheerfully tackle the service interruptions I have learned to expect. For the most part, I am a Communist, but when I look at Time Warner Cable, I can only lower my head in humble astonishment at this product of our system of free market competition, which shines like a burning lighthouse of hope to the millions in other, less-advanced nations who are imprisoned, enslaved, and otherwise deprived of quality television.
