Converting from Oil Heat to Gas Heat
I am wondering if anyone has converted their home from Oil Heat to Natural Gas Heat, and if so, could they share their experience. I am specifically wondering whether there was a significant savings in the cost of gas vs. oil and if the conversion process presented any hidden costs that weren't anticipated.
Many Thanks Everyone.

We did the convertion a few years ago.
If you have an older boiler I recommend replacing it. That’s were you’ll save the most money in the long run if you have something efficient and low maintenance.
Now the down side of my experience. We had to cut the tank into small pieces to get it out of the basement. My house smelled like fuel oil for a good year after the work was done.
Howdy, Stranger!
